Come join us at VOX Musical Theatre’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame on September 21st to the 23rd as we venture on a night full of music and drama in fifteenth-century Paris. Watch Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be "Out There," as he escapes from his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, into the boisterous crowd during the Feast of Fools, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit, though – the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all. Based on the Victor Hugo novel, the book written by Peter Parnell and the music by Menken and Schwartz embrace the best of story theatre as well as feature passages from Hugo’s gothic novel. With a sweeping score and powerful story, you will be swept away by the magic of this truly unforgettable musical.
